Congratulations to Lala Sketchley, Winner of the Summer Cornhole Raffle!
Tickets to this hand built, hand painted Cornhole set (made by our Angel Roseanne) were sold throughout July and August at local events, and by our hard working volunteers!
The winning ticket belonged to our own Lala Sketchley!
Thank You to all that purchased tickets throughout the summer.
All 250 of the tickets were sold, resulting in $1250 being raised to care for our Rescues.

Welcome New Residents — Butterscotch and Star
On August 11, Last Chance Horse & Pony Rescue & Sanctuary were contacted by the Fort Erie SPCA to assist them in rescuing a pony & her companion goat found wondering on Point Albino Rd & Nigh Rd.
The word was sent out to all the local SPCAs, in hopes of locating their owner. After a week, not a single call was received This appears to be another case of abandonment. Fort Erie SPCA contacted LCHPR in hopes we could give them a home.
Welcome in Butterscotch (goat) & Star (pony) named by one of our volunteers grandchildren.

Ruby and Kate Update - January 15
Today, the vet came to do some dental work on our 2 girls!
Although they are still quite skittish, the work had to be started, as their teeth were in very bad shape.
The vet did quite a bit of work, but more will be done on the next visit.
The biggest surprise though, is that our 2 lovelies are not mother and daughter as originally thought.
And, Ruby is much older than Kate. Kate is most likely around 15 years old.
We will continue to keep you updated as their care continues! Thank You to all that have contributed towards their care since they have arrived! ❤️💙
Thank You Fort Erie Community Preschool
LCHPR was recently invited to visit the Fort Erie Community Preschool. During the visit, the children made horse treats, and visited with Houston and Chewy, Sharon, Kayla and Mia.
