save our sanctuary
LCHPR is in urgent need of raising 1.4 M by spring 2023 to secure our land and our future!! Those of you that know us know that we may RESCUE HORSES but we SAVE HUMANS so it’s absolutely crucial that we do everything in our power to save the only home these animals have ever felt safe in.
Saving our sanctuary also means continuing to make a difference not only to our precious animals but to the organizations they service, like the March of Dimes, Community Living, Douglas Memorial Hospital, Valley Park Lodge, Hamilton Hospital, Maple Park Lodge, and many, many more. A sanctuary like ours offers the vulnerable in our community opportunities to connect with animals on a personal and therapeutic level. Their interactions help promote purpose and healing.
